Curriculum Overview
Our inquiry-based programmes are designed to develop 21st-century skills and nurture confident, compassionate, and responsible global citizens. Guided by the Middleton motto, “Learn, Innovate, Serve,” our school ethos inspires students to build knowledge, develop critical skills, and cultivate dispositions to create new ideas that positively impact themselves, their communities, and the world.
Starting with Nursery 1 to Grade 4 with plans to progressively expand through to High School, our programmes provide continuity and portability for families, all delivered by highly qualified and experienced educators committed to each child’s growth and success.
Learning Pathway
Early Years
Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 2
In pre-school, our inquiry-based pedagogy is research-backed and inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to education that enhances children’s natural curiosity and encourages them to engage in meaningful inquiries from a young age.
Primary School
Grade 1 to Grade 5
The UK International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is combined with the Singapore Math programme to offer a unique international learning experience. Students develop strong academic foundations in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry as they explore integrated thematic units.
Middle Years
Grade 6 to Grade 10
Building on the strong foundation established in Primary, our inquiry-based curriculum in Middle Years allows students to explore a wide range of subjects, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
High School
Grade 11 to Grade 12
Our high school programme provides academic depth and subject specialisation while supporting personal growth through pastoral care, equipping learners with skills to thrive in top universities and future careers.
